Receives customers' requests, accepts payments, collects money, and issues tickets, receipts and change; answers inquiries about charges, routes, schedules, reservations, coming attractions and fares; contacts customers to cancel or confirm reservations.

• Employees work in an indoors office environment or enclosed sales booth at a range of organisations and events.
• Employees may also stand outside events and deal directly with the public, in which case they will work in all weathers.
