Types information from documents into a computer; analyses and determines classifications; reviews information received for accuracy and correctness; contacts providers and various other sources to obtain information required to resolve discrepancies; generates reports.

• Works indoors in an office environment.
• Work areas are generally well lit, adequately heated and ventilated.
• Sits at a desk and/or computer workstation constantly.

• Sedentary physical demand level.
• Sits for prolonged periods of time when carrying out daily tasks.
• Bending, stretching up and reaching across are not a significant component of the job.
• Squatting, crouching and kneeling are not a significant component of the job.
• Twisting of the body or neck is not a significant component of the job.
• Contact with skin irritants or water is not required.
• Lifting, carrying and holding requirements are unlikely to exceed a sedentary demand level.
• Frequent to constant repetitive hand and finger movements are required when using pens, telephones and when using a keyboard and mouse.
• Driving is not a significant requirement.
• Use of hand-held objects and general office equipment will be frequent and may include telephones, staplers, printers, faxes and computers
• Mental skills necessary include, communication, research, planning and decision-making.

An NZQF Level 4 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
